Horseman Shoes have presented specially made shoes to Team Ghana who are going to represent Ghana at the Paris Olympic Games from July 26 to August 11.

Madam Sarah Agyei, a representative of Horseman said she was happy that her company is associated with the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) and Team Ghana going to Paris.

She prayed that they will do well and bring home medals, tipping the 4x100m team as a potential medal winner as well as high jumper Rose A. Yeboah.

She presented a shoe to the representative of the French Embassy.

Mr. Kwab Asamoah of Kustom Looks a sports fashion designer and manufacturer also presented kits for the athletes and officials to the GOC and said it is good that Team Ghana will showcase made in Ghana products and designs at the Games.

He wished them good luck and urged them to do their best to be among the best.

Mr. Eworyi Worlanyo of Republic Bank presented a cheque for 5,000 Euros and promised a larger package for the athletes and swimmers if they are able to win medals.

Madam Marine Hayem of the French Embassy in Ghana said Paris is ready to welcome able and disabled athletes to the Games.

She said there will be an African Fun Zone to be opened, while on August 10 there will be a concert performance by Ghanaian artistes, Sarkodie and King Promise.

She wished Team Ghana success. “I am very Team Ghana will excel in Horseman shoes” she told Yours Truly.

The GOC President revealed that the French Embassy is supporting the pre Games preparations with 20,000 Euros.

Present at the ceremony were GOC Board members, Mr. Mawuko Afadzinu, Mrs. Delphina Quaye, Mr. Albert K. Frimpong, Mr. Michael Aggrey, Rev E.D. Nikoi, Mr. George Lamptey and the Media Committee members.
