The Volta Regional Zongo Caucus Coordinator Hon. Hajia Hawa Tahiru has urged Muslims of the Afadjato South Constituency of the Volta Region to vote massively for NDC in the 2024 elections.

She assured the muslim community of the availability of incentives and aid during the annual Hajj Pilgrimage in Mecca.

In an interaction with Muslims at Golo Kwati in the Afadjato South Constituency of the Volta Region on Sunday, the Regional Caucus Coordinator admonished the community to put aside past experiences and focus on the upcoming elections, with the assurance that they shall not be forgotten during Hajj Pilgrimage under the next John Mahama Government when the NDC assumes power.

She reiterated that “let us all support His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to win in December so that he can help to reduce the exorbitant fees that hinder us from going on our annual Hajj Pilgrimages”.

Constituency dignitaries present were Mr. Frank Afriyie (Parliamentary Candidate), Mr. Akotia (Chairman), Mr. Abuohey(secretary), Denis Goloh(Director of elections), and Mr. Ayuba Ibrahim (Zongo Caucus Coordinator for Afadjato South).

Also present was a member of the National Zongo Caucus Working committee of the NDC, Madam Hajia Rahinatu.

The Parliamentary Candidate for the Afadjato South Constituency, Mr. Frank Afriyie also advised Muslims in the Constituency to stay away from any acts of electoral violence in the upcoming general elections, urging them to come out massively to endorse his Execellency John Dramani Mahama in the much anticipated December polls.

He also donated ten (10) bags of cement and a bundle of iron sheets in aid of a public lavatory under construction in the Zongo Community in Golo Kwati.

In a related development, the Volta Regional Zongo Caucus Coordinator indicated that she intends to tour all 18 Constituencies of the Volta Region to canvas support for John Mahama and their respective NDC Parliamentary candidates before December General elections.
