KWAME A-PLUS DRAGGED TO COURT FOR EXPLOITING AHMED SUALE’S DEATH FOR PUBLIC ATTENTION

The Zongo community feels betrayed by the assassination of Ahmed Suale. The Muslim communities are discontented by the government’s lukewarm response in finding the perpetrators of Ahmed’s killers.

The Coalition urges the general public to approach Kwame Asare Obeng A-plus with caution due to his deception and misinformation, which is affirmed by a competent court in Accra.

Withholding vital information on a criminal case of public interest is deemed as aiding and abetting a crime, and therefore liable to sentence.

The New Ghana has been compelled to take this noble legal action due to A-PLUS’s refusal to produce the names of Ahmed Suale’s killers despite claiming to know them, in a viral video that we have seen.

While questioning the motive behind the prolonged silence and withholding of this crucial information, we pray that the Defendant must be compelled to speak or face the law squarely.

Ghana and the Zongo community are still grieving the gruesome death of Ahmed Suale, and so any attempt to exploit his memory for public attention would face serious consequences. We believe in a disciplined society with responsive state institutions like this honorable court .

The National Coalition of Zongo Political Groupings was established to unite Zongos, and entire youth against political vigilantism which is gradually eating into the fabric of Zongo communities. And to avoid using Zongo youth as thugs of violence and land guards, including the promotion of good governance to create employment avenues for the unemployed youth which causes political vigilantism.
