Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah, a leading member of the National Democratic Congress, speaking in an interview on his take on the international relations and foreign policy of the NDC manifesto has assured both Ghanaians and the international community that “John Mahama, when voted back to the Jubilee House, will enhance international relations and foreign policy based on friendship, sincerity, reciprocity and inclusiveness.”

The former Chairman of the UK/Ireland Chapter of the NDC, continued by reiterating that a John Mahama administration will “make every effort to achieve mutually beneficial reciprocity and make overall plans for the use of our resources in the areas of the economy, trade, science and technology, and finance to enhance international relations,” he added.

“John Mahama has the record of striving to build more co-operation, cultural and people-to-people exchanges, which will enhance especially co-operation with neighbouring countries.”

When asked about life for the Ghanaian in the diaspora under a Mahama administration Mr. Ankrah assured them that “with John Mahama it is the Ghanaian first and the Ghanaian in the diaspora does matter to him.” Mr. Ankrah concluded.
