The Models Union of Ghana (MODUGA) has named Mr. Nanayaw Kwakye-Boadu, Chief Executive Officer of EduEnter Group, as the new Chairman of its Board of Directors.
His tenure begins on December 1, 2024.
With over 20 years of experience in organizing modeling and creative arts events, Mr. Kwakye-Boadu is a respected figure in the industry.
He has spearheaded notable initiatives such as the environmental-themed Miss Galaxy pageant, Miss Knustford, and the Ghana Environmental Sanitation Awards, earning him a reputation as a leader in blending entertainment with advocacy.
An official letter from Dr. Lillian Sally Addo, Supreme Board Chair of MODUGA, conveyed the union’s excitement about his appointment.
The letter emphasized the significance of his new role, stating, “As Board Chairman, you will lead the Board in shaping the strategic direction of the union, ensuring effective governance, and advocating for MODUGA’s interests to key stakeholders.
Your leadership and dedication are expected to strengthen the union’s impact and guide it toward sustained growth and success.”
In response, Mr. Kwakye-Boadu expressed his gratitude and eagerness to embrace the challenge.
He stated, “I am deeply honored to take on this role as Board Chairman of MODUGA. Having served as a board member and worked extensively within the entertainment and creative arts sectors, this appointment marks a significant milestone in my career.”
He reflected on his career’s trajectory, highlighting his contributions to nurturing young talent and driving innovation in the industry.
“Over the years, I have had the privilege of mentoring emerging talents and creating platforms that empower creative professionals.
