Ahead of the much anticipated by-election in Akwatia constituency in the Eastern region, an outspoken constituency executive member of the NDC in the Ho Central Constituency in the Volta region has appealed to constituents in the Akwatia constituency, to be guided by President John Dramani Mahama’s track records a little over six months in government.
Commenting on his Facebook wall that generated mixed reactions, Oscar Bedzra asked
…”WOULDN’T IT BE PRUDENT FOR THE PEOPLE OF AKWATIA CONSTITUENCY IF THEY CONSIDER MAHAMA’S TRACK RECORDS AS A MEASURE OF THEIR DECISION..??.

The NDC activist pointed out to president Mahama’s 120 days social contract with the people of Ghana including the cancellation of the controversial E-levy on mobile money transactions, 10% tax on bet winnings, appointment of not more than 60 ministers to serve under his gov’t, prosecution of Persons involved in the controversial national cathedral project, and the sky train project all under the earstwhile NPP government.
Oscar Bedzra in his concluding remarks advised constituents to stay away from electoral violence and endorse the NDC candidate “..No Chaos , Just Votes ..!!”.
This, he said, will further solidify the success of the current NDC government under president John Dramani Mahama to continue with the reset agenda of social and economic transformation.
