The burial of popular jovial boxer, Ernest Akushey aka ‘Bahubali’ has been fixed for December 20 after wake keeping on December 19 at Chorkor Tea Garden.
The new date was arranged after an earlier date was cancelled and postponed.
Bahubali, a super midd;eweight boxer passed a few days after fighting Jacob Dickson for the national cruiserweight title, causing a suspension on professional boxing, which has also been lifted.
He fought and lost to Jonathan Tetteh through a knock out, after his fight with Soldier Boxer was also called off following a cut on his gloves.
Three walks have already been organized by friends and boxers in Chorkor and Accra as he is considered a very entertaining and affable boxer who was always happy and loves jokes.
He is on record to have fought eight time winning six and losing two.
