Housing Minister

The Works and Housing Minister, Francis Asenso-Boakye on Monday, March 22 held a meeting with a three-member delegation from the Local Organizing Committee of the thirteenth All African Games to be held in Ghana in 2023.

This came after the three-member delegation from the Local Organizing Committee paid a courtesy call on the Works and Housing Minister

The purpose of the visit was to welcome the minister to his new office and also table some concerns of the Committee before the Ministry.

Hon. Asenso-Boakye assured the Committee of the government’s commitment through the Ministry of Works and Housing in ensuring that its work is done effectively without hindrance.

He reiterated that the Ministry will continue to support and collaborate with the Committee for a successful run come 2023.

The LOC of the 13th “All African Games” under the chairmanship of a veteran sports analyst, Dr. Kwaku Ofosu Asare was inaugurated by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on October 12, 2020, at the Jubilee House in Accra.
