Salaga South MP

On Tuesday, April 27, 2021, the Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah, and her team continued with their familiarization tour to some departments and agencies within the constituency.

They visited the Municipal National Health Insurance Office (NHIS), Ghana Health Service (GHS), and the Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo) to familiarize themselves with their activities.

Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah had fruitful discussions with the management of the Municipal National Health Insurance Department and took note of some key administrative challenges facing them whilst she assured them of an open-door policy to work in partnership to deliver quality services to our people.

At the Ghana Health Service, Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah presented them with two motorbikes to support their sensitization and outreach programmes.

Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah’s discussions with the Northern Electricity Distribution Company NEDCo officials centered on power challenges in the Municipality.

Key on the agenda was the erratic power supply as well as the age-old power fluctuation popularly known as low current in the constituency.

Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah expressed her happiness with the briefing from the officials and on her part, she intends to explore all the available channels to bring relief to our people.

The MP expressed her appreciation to all the heads of department and officials for the warm reception and look forward to working with them to bring the needed progress to our dear constituency.
