Madam Gloria Commodore (aka Mama G) is the Executive Director and President of the Women In Sports Association (WISA).
She has single-handedly funded WISA for eight years.
She uses her small pension pay to support the WISA Achievers Awards.
All recipients can attest to how they have improved their careers. Over two hundred women in sports from all categories and disciplines were awarded.
This year is special as some sporting Legends will be receiving their Special Achievers Awards on Saturday 24th September 2022.
Age is no barrier to Mama G and is determined that all those who deserve should be awarded and encouraged.
This year will include Sports Editors, Sports Photographers, Administrators, and Sports Legends.
She also launched the WISA Charities to Reward Retired Sports Women during Christmas Season.
The Maiden event last December was a great success. WISA is seeking Sponsorship, Donations, and any support available in kind or cash, hampers, etc to continue rewarding our women in sports and also encouraging and empowering them.
