De-Luxy Professional Boxing League Fight Night 8 which took place over the weekend at the Bukom Boxing Arena was explosive and entertaining.

As usual, the musical aspect was great with Shasha Marley on stage with his best productions.

Ernest Ampah and Pascal Adjibude Otchoun gave fans a good fight in the super lightweight division which ended in a draw as the judges scored 57-57, 57-57, and 57-57.

Benjamin Nii Saka Bulley was declared the winner over Sometey Teye in the middleweight division bout.

The Super Bantamweight bout saw Alfred Quaye from Wisdom Gym in a T.K.O victory over Jerry Klutei Robertson in just 2mins 15sec of the second round.

Issifu Yusif Seidu defeated Sulley Mohammed from Bolga in the super featherweight contest. The bout was very entertaining and the latter requested a rematch.  

Mohammed won many admirers and got gifts from the fans.

Joseph Aka Nettey of CQBF won over Isaac Aryee in a super flyweight contest as the judges scored 60-53, 60-54, and 59-55

Amadu Seidu had to retire in the 4th round as John Quaye was too much for him to handle.

Sheriff Seidu and Bernard Ankrah engaged in a close contest but the duo could only manage a draw.

In the main bout which was a juvenile bout, Mohammed ‘the Hero’s Ablorh and Godfred Koffie aka Chorkor Pacquiao battled it out in what turned out to be a close contest.

Son of the late Ft Lt Jerry John Rawlings, Kimathi Rawlings was in attendance at the Bukom Boxing Arena and really enjoyed every bit of the action.

Former first Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) and politician, Prof. Joshua Alabi together with the Chairman of IMAX Media, Mr. Maxwell Takyi, and Mr. Isaac Tetteh aka Uncle T were also there to enjoy the boxing display.
