The fourth edition of Miss Golden Stool is scheduled for this Sunday November 27 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Eight beautiful ladies have been selected out of the 16 ladies who began the competition.

Miss Golden Stool aimed at protecting the rich culture and traditional values and Heritage of the Akans.

Performers at the 8:00 pm event which will be hosted by Tima Kunkun include Kwaisey Pee, Obaapa Christy, Jayana and Fameye.

Speaking in an interview Akua Amoakowaa CEO of Miss Golden she said the prizes for the winner is a car, money and other prizes from sponsors.

According to her, “Miss Golden Stool is a culturally inclined beauty pageant that seeks to nurture and groom a bevy of young ladies who will use their Physical Beauty, Intellect and Extensive Knowledge of their Culture to affect lives positively and with an emphasis on culturally promoting the development of the Akan Regions in areas of Sanitation, Tourism, Health and other Social and Economic issues”.

She stated that it is her dream to expand this pageant into a bigger one.

“My dream is to expand Miss Golden and give more girls an opportunity. I will be glad if I get a lot of sponsors to make this happen,” she said.
