The Ghana Cycling Federation hits the polls this Wednesday 28th December 2022, 9.00am at the Media center of the Accra sports stadium.

The guidelines regarding the Elective Congress have been released per the directions of the Electoral Officers who handled the process of nomination.

The Positions to be contested for includes the Presidency and three other Executive positions.

The new structure of the reviewed constitution plows in the Management Committee where all Regional representatives would be elected into. All the Regional bodies would present a candidate who would be an automatic member of the Management Committee.

The Management Committee would then appoint the Treasurer, Deputy Treasurer Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and the Vice-President to steer the affairs of the Federation.

The Presidency position stimulates interest as incumbent Mohammed Sahnoon Esq squares off with TBT’s Cycling club’s Kwabena Larbi for that position.

The Ghana Cycling Federation has been one of the most active disciplines in the country in recent times drawing commendation from the media enclave.

This Election seeks to seal the major activity for the year as next year brings to the fore enormous programs especially the hosting of the Africa Road Paracycling Championships.
