Unbeaten Featherweight John Laryea finally has a date and a yet “To Be Announced” opponent for his long-awaited return to the ring.

Laryea, who is rated No. 14 by the  World Boxing Organization (WBO) in the featherweight division will face an opponent TBA, on July 26 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida – USA.

The announcement was made by both John Laryea and Manager Sammy on social media Wednesday morning.

“Next fight is done!

July 26 on DAZN,” Laryea manager’s said.

Laryea (13-0-1, 11 KOs), who resides in Jamestown Accra, Ghana, last fought on  December 30, 2023 when he defeated Isaac Dowuona by TKO at the Golden Royal Beach, Korle Gonno – Accra.

His fight on July 26 will mark his first outing in the U.S. He is Co-managed by Mr. Sammy Anim Addo and Mr. Peter Khan unders the renowned world known Fight Game Advisors Promotions.

Looking ahead to his first bout in the United States, Laryea is optimistic about his chances and vows to emerge victorious. “I will make sure I win my first international bout on July 26th and dedicate it to my fans and all Ghanaians as appreciation for their support all these years,” he said.

The undefeated WBO African Featherweight Champion currently ranks #1 out of 22 in Ghana, and #66 out of 1590 worldwide.

Other high profile fights on the bill is Gurgen Hovhannisyan Vs Robert Hull Jr, David Garcia Vs Dominicc Hardy and Krystal Rosado-Ortiz Vs Veronika Dmitriyeva.
