Ghana Alternative Party (GAP), the next political pillar in waiting to cushion the afflictions of Ghanaians including the unborn generation wishes the good people of Ghana Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
We warmly welcome the NDC administration and congratulate the President elect, H.E John Dramani Mahama for his landslide victory in the 2024 general elections.
The impulse which triggered the clarion call for this press release is the expulsion of the 280 NPP members in Agona West constituency.
The leadership of GAP wishes to express our displeasure and disenchantment to the decision of the Agona West constituency for this harsh decision.
Ghana Alternative Party hereby request to invite every disgruntled member of any political party, movement or coalition to join us, as we prepare the road towards the 2028 general elections.
However, we would like to applaud the leadership of the NDC for the implementation of the ‘Operation Retrieve All Loot’ (ORAL), a message which was firmly resonated in the minds of Ghanaians.
We therefore urge the committee to accelerate towards this action to instill the confidence back into the citizens.
As GAP prepares towards 2028, we will support the NDC government with our “24 hour economy” ideas but will not hesitate to criticize them constructively when the need arises.
We urge the leadership of the NPP/NDC to resort to the rule of law with respect to the ongoing heightening of tension correlated with the re-collation of parliamentary results.
We eulogize our gallant Ghanaians including security officers, electoral officials, political vigilantes and civilians who suffered any form of brutalities or lose their live in the just ended elections.
