In a statement on his Facebook page , the outspoken Constituency Executive member of the governing National Democratic Congress has described the recent victory of the NDC as a prison-break.

This he said in an interview with a Takoradi-based KYZZ FM .

When asked about how the victory of the NDC feels to himself and other party supporters, Oscar Bedzra stated that “…Ghanaians now have a sigh of relief, right from the street vendor to the office clerk and this feels like what I can describe as a prison break, adding that most associations and organisations that had voices in Ghana’s development were silenced “.

The NDC boy went on to mention groups such as the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA), the Peasant Farmers of Ghana(PFAG), the Ghana Journalists Association among other groups.

“Even opportunities for youthful citizens were limited to tribal and partisan lines which made if not millions, thousands of citizens felt marginalized and voted against the NPP out of anger. Doesn’t this feel to them like nothing but prison-break..?” – He questioned.

He urged Ghanians to be constructive in their criticisms adding that President John Dramani Mahama will not misuse the mandate given him for his four-year mandate.
