CONDEMNATION OF REPORTS REGARDING THE ALLEGED DEATH OF NII AYI BONTE II, GBESE MANTSE AND ADONTEN OF THE GA STATE
The Office of the Atukpai Mantse and Gbese Mankralo has taken notice of the circulation and misleading information on various social media platforms and other communication channels alleging the death of Nii Ayi Bonte II.
We wish to state categorically that the said publication is entirely unfounded, and without any basis. The circulation of such information is not only irresponsible but also causes unnecessary anxiety among family members, traditional authorities, subjects, well-wishers, and the general public.
The Office strongly condemns this malicious act and urges the public to disregard the purported reports in their entirety. Matters concerning the welfare and status of traditional leaders are communicated through the appropriate customary and official channels and not through unverified social media publications.
We further call on all persons involved in originating or disseminating this information to cease immediately and refrain from acts capable of disturbing public peace and undermining the dignity of the Gbese Stool and the Ga Traditional institution.
The public is advised to rely only on official communications issued by the Gbese Dzase regarding matters affecting the Gbese Stool.
