In a Dream Land
When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Psalms 126:1
God’s people went into captivity for 70 years because of their disobedience. Yet, in His abundant mercy, God reversed their captivity and brought them back home – an experience so remarkable that it seemed too good to be true.
This passage reminds us that God is the Restorer of all that is broken.
“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion…” It is God who changes seasons and times. He alone has the power to reverse impossible situations, restore what has been lost, and rebuild what has been destroyed.
God’s restoration is complete. He does not merely bring us out of our place of brokenness; He leads us into a place of fulfilment, abundance, and blessing. He not only ended His people’s captivity but also restored their fortunes.
It is not enough to be set free from captivity. God’s perfect restoration takes us beyond deliverance into a life of renewed purpose, fruitfulness, and overflowing blessing.
God’s restoration will exceed your greatest expectations. When He steps into your situation, His work will be so extraordinary that it will feel like a dream come true.
