Christ be Magnified
According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. Philippians 1:20
Paul was nearing the end of his life. At this point, he was in prison, awaiting execution.
Yet Paul was not consumed by the shame of his imprisonment, nor was he afraid of his impending death. His greatest desire was that, even in his difficult situation, Christ would be exalted.
Like Paul, our greatest ambition in this life should be that Christ is exalted through our lives.
Our bodies belong to God and are meant to bring Him glory. Whatever we do with our bodies should ultimately result in Christ being glorified.
Whether in pain or in gains, in difficult seasons or in seasons of blessing, Christ must be glorified through our lives.
Our circumstances should never determine whether we glorify Christ. Like Paul, may our lives continually magnify Jesus, wherever we go, and whatever we face. Shalom.
Prayer: Pray that Christ will be glorified through your life, regardless of your circumstances.
