The Fruitful Household

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Psalms 128:3

Psalm 128 opens with a profound declaration: “Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord and walks in His ways.”

God is the source of all blessing. When we walk in reverence and obedience to Him, He blesses us and causes our lives to be fruitful.

It is through the blessing of God, received as we reverence Him, that fruitfulness extends to our households.

God’s blessings rest upon our spouses, enabling them to be fruitful. Spousal fruitfulness can be seen in vitality, productivity, influence, and the blessings they bring into the household.

Your spouse shall become a source of life, fruitfulness, and flourishing within the family.

In the blessing of the home, our children shall be like olive plants around our tables. The olive plant represents potential for long-term growth, productivity, stability, and usefulness. Like the olive plant, our children will grow, flourish, and become fruitful.

These blessings in the family are experienced around the table of fellowship with God. When a household maintains a strong relationship with God and nurtures genuine fellowship with one another, His blessings flow to everyone in the family.

May our homes be places where faith flourishes, relationships thrive, and every member of the household becomes fruitful and productive.

Yours is a fruitful household. Shalom.

*Prayer: Pray that everyone in your household will be fruitful, productive, and flourishing in every area of life.*
