Fruits of Good Works
So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, Colossians 1:10
God’s grace is at work in our lives, enabling us to bear the fruits of good works.
Good works are more than simply being busy or engaged in many activities. They are works that advance God’s Kingdom, demonstrate His love, and bring blessing to others.
Fruitfulness in good works makes our lives a blessing to those around us. Through our conduct and the good we do, God’s character is revealed, and He is glorified.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Our good works become a light that points others to God and reveals His glory through our lives.
A life that is worthy and pleasing to God is one that bears the fruit of good works. God is pleased when our lives are productive in doing good and when the fruit of our lives brings honour to His name.
May God’s grace continually empower you to live a fruitful life, overflowing with good works that bless others and glorify Him. Shalom.
Prayer: Pray that God will empower you to abound in good works that bless others and bring glory to His name.
