ACCRA – The Base Movement (TBM) on Monday 21st September 2026, officially launched a triple-asset package at its National Headquarters in Tesano, Accra, in a rally and unveiling ceremony addressed by its Chief Operations Coordinator, Mr. Jacob Osei Yeboah.
The launch, which coincided with Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day and the 117th birthday of Ghana’s first President Dr. Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah, saw the unveiling of TBM Online Radio Studio, a fortified new website at http://www.thebasemovement.org.gh, and the TBM Administrative Structures and Operations Manual.
Addressing a charged gathering of members, youth activists and diaspora supporters, the National Coordinating Committee (NCC) said the event marked a historic crossroads for the movement and a divine reminder to live Nkrumah’s vision of true economic liberation.
The speech, which was read by Mr. Yeboah who is also the political architect of the movement and head of its National Coordinating Committee (NCC), coincided with Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day marking the 117th birthday of Ghana’s first President.
“Fellow Citizens of Ghana, dynamic Youth of our Nation, and Dedicated Members of The Base Movement across the Globe, today we stand at a historic, unshakeable crossroads,” Mr. Yeboah declared at the opening of his address.
He said the gathering at Tesano was not just to open a room but to launch what he called a lethal weapon of absolute truth: a new online studio and a fortified digital fortress at http://www.thebasemovement.org.gh.
According to Mr. Yeboah, the day marks the definitive birth of The Credible Political Alternate Force, which he said is the only force with the teeth and the spine to rescue Ghana from decades of systematic political decay.
“This day is deeply historic. Today, 21st September, falls exactly on Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, marking the 117th birthday of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah. This is a divine reminder for Ghana and the entire African continent to wake up and live the true vision of Nkrumah!” he stated.
Mr. Yeboah argued that just as Nkrumah broke the chains of colonial rule, The Base Movement has come to break the chains of economic slavery imposed by the NPP and NDC duopoly.
“For too long, our beloved nation has been held hostage by this parasitic, self-serving duopoly. The NPP and the NDC have operated like two sides of the same counterfeit coin,” he said.
He accused the two dominant parties of creating a hedged duopoly to protect themselves and rule Ghana in shifts with the same low level of performance, trading the future back and forth and dumping youth into unemployment after elections.
In a direct warning to opponents, Mr. Yeboah said: “To the political shenanigans, the establishment thugs, and the media mercenaries of the duopoly who see our rapid, explosive rise and tremble: hear this clearly! The Base cannot be intimidated, we cannot be bought, and we will never be broken!”
He declared that the era of what he termed a deceptive, corrupt two-party circus is coming to an end, adding that TBM is a Working Ghana Agenda (WGA) machine built to engineer meritocratic job creation for youth and institute care for the elderly and pensioners.
Mr. Yeboah then announced what he described as a massive, simultaneous triple launch of three great assets, proving that TBM’s organizational structure genuinely hands power back to the people in practice.
He listed the assets as the Online Radio Studio as an unstoppable media voice across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube, the new secure Website http://www.thebasemovement.org.gh as a global command center, and the TBM Administrative Procedures and Operations Manual as an institutional blueprint.
Detailing the digital transition, Mr. Yeboah disclosed that following a technical impasse after the historic July 3rd Mega Walk in the Ashanti Region, the NCC which he leads took decisive action to protect members’ personal data from external sabotage and internal greed.
“On Saturday, 19th September, at 7 PM, a crucial joint convergence took place involving both the APP A and APP C teams, the ICT resolution team, the NCC, and our Board members,” he revealed.
Mr. Yeboah announced that the meeting’s unanimous verdict was to officially render APP A and the .com domain redundant and migrate fully and permanently to the high-security, enterprise-grade platform, APP C, hosted on http://www.thebasemovement.org.gh.
He explained that the new portal features secured membership registration for Ghanaians in all 276 constituencies and the diaspora, and offered a clean, brotherly hand of reconciliation to the team behind APP A to merge data, while warning that the NCC will seek legal redress in the UK, USA, Australia and elsewhere against anyone hoarding data for personal enrichment.
On financial transparency, Mr. Yeboah stated: “Unlike the NPP and NDC that drain your blood and forget your name, The Base Movement operates on visible justice. From this moment on, your efforts will never be in vain.”

Mr. Yeboah emphasized that TBM does not believe in individual dictators but works strictly on committees for collective glory, from NCC to Regional, Constituency and Polling Station Committees which hold supreme power to appoint and disappoint, and that the system will welcome compatriots from Hon. Alan Kyerematen’s UP+ movement and any team from Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.
Concluding his address, Mr. Yeboah declared: “We are past the storm, we have purged the weaknesses, and we are now dominating the national policy discourse. We are laying the unshakeable foundation today, organizing every territory, as we strategically prepare the ground to propel Hon. Kennedy Agyapong into the light in 2027!”
