Aspiring Constituency Treasurer for Ablekuma North, Mr. Summertime Kwabillna Ampong, has demonstrated his commitment to accountability and welfare by fulfilling a GH₵5,000 seed money pledge to the Nyamekye Ward.
The presentation, made on August 21, 2026, after a fruitful engagement with executives and members of the ward, is part of his broader vision to establish a structured and transparent welfare support system across all 14 electoral areas in the constituency.
For Mr. Ampong, who is contesting as No.1 on the ballot for the position of Constituency Treasurer, the gesture is more than a donation. He says it is aimed at entrenching proper documentation, accountability, and responsible management of welfare resources — a principle that aligns with his campaign message: Vote for Transparency to Protect Every Pesewa.
“Nyamekye is not just another ward – it is home. And there is no better place to begin a journey of service than home,” he noted.
Mr. Ampong, who is campaigning on integrity, transparency, and excellence in finance, says if elected as Constituency Treasurer, he will ensure prudent financial management and a well-structured welfare system that serves its intended purpose.
