CompuGhana Ltd, a leading technology and IT retail company in Ghana in partnership with HotWav. A mobile phone brand with their Co-Owner, Shatta Wale unveil three new smart devices at a colourful launch event held at the CompuGhana premises in AirportWest, Dzorwulu – Accra.
The Unboxing event brought together technology enthusiasts, consumers, brand representatives and industry stakeholders to experience firsthand the latest additions to Hotwav’s growing portfolio of smart devices — the A36, A26 Ultra and Pad 13.
The event highlighted Hotwav’s growing presence in Ghana’s competitive technology market, with the company positioning the devices as a combination of affordability, durability, innovation and practical features for everyday users.
The partnership between CompuGhana and Hotwav also reflects a shared commitment to promoting brands with a strong connection to Ghana while making modern technology more accessible to consumers across the country.
Speaking at the event, Marketing Manager of CompuGhana Ltd. Mrs Rita Akua Safoa Nyarko, explained the company’s decision to support Hotwav, citing the brand’s durability and focus on innovation. “Due to the durability that comes with the phones. We are committed to innovation and providing our customers with the best technology available on the market,” she said.
During the event, Hotwav Brand Manager, Mr. Henry Agyekum emphasized that the newly introduced smartphones were developed to provide consumers with more features without placing excessive pressure on their budgets. “We launched the A36 and then the A26 Ultra. The A36 is an entry-level phone where it gives you more, but it’s budget-friendly. The most affordable device, durable device that currently you can find on the market,” he said.
According to Mr Henry, the Hotwav A36 is particularly targeted at consumers looking for an affordable smartphone that can deliver reliable everyday performance without compromising on durability.
He further disclosed that Hotwav has added a data package to the offering, giving customers an additional incentive to purchase the device and remain connected after buying it. “And not just that, we are giving you free data for 12 months. The Hotwav A26 Ultra, positioned as a mid-range device, is intended for consumers seeking to move beyond entry-level smartphone specifications while still maintaining an affordable price point.
Beyond the two smartphones, Hotwav also used the chance to introduce the Hotwav Pad 13, a tablet designed to combine entertainment, productivity and convenience in a single package.
Explaining the features of the tablet, Mr. Henry, said the Pad 13 comes with enhanced specifications and accessories aimed at users who require a more comprehensive device for work, study and other activities.
The Tablet includes – mouse, stylus pen, keyboard & bookcover. It has a bigger RAM and a strong battery that can be used for a long period with no worry’s when it’s about battery life on the go.”
The inclusion of a stylus pen and mouse gives the Pad 13 an added productivity edge, making it suitable for users who want a tablet that can support both creative and professional tasks while on the move.
The battery-focused design also seeks to address one of the common concerns among mobile-device users — the need for frequent charging — by offering extended usage for users who depend on their devices throughout the day.
