Seth Gyimah aka Freezy Macbones, the new WBO Africa Light Heavyweight Champion has paid a special visit to the former vice president and flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on his 63rd birthday to present his title which he won in Nigeria after beating Godday Appa by majority points decision.
Macbones had earlier visited his hometown in the Ashanti Region to celebrate the victory with his family and friends.
The Europe based boxer who is married to a French lady with two kids has really worked very hard to reach the top.
He started boxing at the age of 27 after going through many difficulties and challenges in different occupations including mason, chef and more.
He was invited to the Black Bombers team to prepare for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games but he could not qualify and turned pro.
Now at 37 years he is one of the oldest boxing champions and is looking forward to win the world title.
