As she embarked on a three (3) day official thank you tour in Kluw, the Member of Parliament for Salaga-South, Hon Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah and her team visited Chief palaces, households, youth bases, women’s groups, party sympathizers, opinion leaders and other identifiable groups in the Kluw area.

The tour saw the MP undertaking door-to-door visitations and climaxing it with community meetings.

Communities visited included Kijewu, Kiyaghe, Abromase, Kigbatito, Buma, Telkpa, Akamade and Jemtutu.

The MP said the tour afforded her the opportunity to thank the chiefs, opinion leaders, party sympathizers, women groups, bases and the entire people of the Kluw area for their selflessness, sacrifices, support and votes in the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.

“The Kulaw ward was a battleground in the 2020 elections and regardless of some anti-party conduct recorded in the area, the people of Kulaw especially the youth and women remained committed to our dear party the NDC. We recognize that our performance in the area was mainly due to the sacrifices and unflinching support of the people and the NDC is grateful for that” Hon Hajia Zuwera, MP for Salaga-South constituency said

The people of Klaw lauded Hajia for her hands-on approach to engaging them and commended the house-to-house initiative.

The Hon MP expressed her sincere appreciation for their votes, support and prayers.

Together with the people, they identified and agreed on some of the most pressing and unique challenges facing each community and how the MP and the people could work together to address them.

The MP also used the opportunity to highlight some development initiatives her office was working on to bring relief and development to the people of the area.

At Buma, the MP, Hon Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah introduced to the community a certified midwife who she had arranged to be posted to the health centre in order to help reduce cases of maternal mortality. The MP implored the community of Buma to work with her to make her stay there successful even as the MP’s office continued to provide assistance to the health centre.

Some sons and daughters of Kluw joined and added flavour to the tour. They Included Lawyer Mustapha, Mr. Rauf, Mr. Rashid, Mr. Nurudeen, Madam Zuwera Fuseini, Mr. Fuseini Dukulubi and some youth and women’s groups. We wish to use this opportunity to thank all the branch executives for the wonderful reception and coordination during our visit. We are grateful and we will endeavour to continue working with them in the interest of our dear party.

Accompanying the MP on the tour, were some Regional and Constituency executives including Mr Haruna Abotsi, Deputy Regional Treasurer, Alhaji Inusah Mahama, Regional Youth Organiser/Chief Operations Officer, Hajia Afisha Bawah Doshie, Regional Campaign Team Member, Mr Rabiu Kassim, Constituency Treasurer, Alhaji Awudu, Constituency Vice Chairman, Mr Lawal Awari, Constituency Deputy secretary, Mr Sakyibu, Constituency deputy Treasurer, Mr Daniani Mairiga, Constituency Deputy Youth organiser and Mr Sumaila Ibn Hafiz, Constituency Zongo Caucus Coordinator as well as staff of the office of the MP.
