Host of ENTERTAINMENT CAPITAL on ACCRA 100.5 FM has urged Highlife Artist, OTJ (Obibini Takyi Jnr.) to as much as possible, try to do songs that have a blend of Ghana’s Highlife music genre and the modern and trending Afrobeat or Afrofusion music.

Nana Romeo gave this advice when OTJ appeared on his show last Saturday afternoon.

According to Nana Romeo, OTJ should also serve the current youth who are already addicted to such Afrobeat trends, with such kind of songs to enable him market and sell his songs.

“Music is now a big business so you cannot afford to invest in doing songs that will not bring you money. So OTJ, this is my personal advice to you. Highlife is good but try and do commercial songs that suit what the current youth want to hear because my brother, you need to make money,” Nana Romeo told OTJ.

OTJ on the other hand, did not hesitate to accept the challenge thrown by Nana Romeo.

“I have taken your advice in good faith and as I make progress with my style of music, I will consider mixing Highlife and Afrobeat. I even have some songs I have written that carry more vibes of Highlife and Afrofusion,” he told Nana Romeo.

OTJ is managed by First Klass Music and is currently promoting SIKA NO ASHI, and the latest MAASE.

OTJ has been busy lately running on his promotion with his management team.

Follow him on all social media platforms and stream his songs on all digital music streaming platforms.
