The obvious parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party in the Amenfi East Constituency ahead of the 2024 General Elections, Ernest Frimpong (Costaro) was joined by thousands of party faithfuls for the biggest health walk activity to happen in the constituency. This took place on Sunday, 26th March 2023 at Wassa Akropong.

Ernest Frimpong, who has made his intentions known to be contesting in the upcoming party parliamentary elections organised this health walk with the theme of fostering unity to break the 8.

This health walk forms part of the warm-up activities ahead of the Easter Community Gala which is scheduled to take place from the 7th – 10th April, 2023 at Wassa Akropong in the Amenfi East Constituency.

The health walk brought together patriots from far and near within the constituency as they walked through the streets of Wassa Akropong with a message of hope to the people that Ernest Frimpong is coming with a new direction to liberate Amenfi East from the shackles of the NDC and place the constituency on a higher height.

Eye-witness confirmed and described the crowd that thronged on the street as a human sea who conveyed the message that Ernest Frimpong is the people’s choice to lead the constituency.

Among the huge number of people who participated, majority of them were the youth in the constituency who are resolved with the opinion that the youthful nature of Ernest Frimpong makes him one of their own.

They believe that if he is given the opportunity, his vision for the constituency will largely be geared towards the youth and as such, they have given him the mantra as the youth’s choice.

Addressing the people present, Ernest Frimpong who is widely known as Costaro expressed his gratitude to all of them for the massive support and assured them that his resolve to help transform the constituency and improve the lives of the people is firmly grounded.

“The “New Hope, New Direction” mantra isn’t a lip service but a result-oriented action which will positively translate into the lives of each and everyone and further develop our constituency,” said by Costaro.

Members of the New Patriotic Party who were present also indicated their excitement to be part of the movement of Ernest Frimpong in his quest to lead the party to break the 8 in the constituency.

“Ernest Frimpong has proven to be the candidate who can lead us to reclaim the seat from NDC in the next elections and we are ready to support him in all means for the realisation of his dream,” said by a party delegate who took part in the health walk.
