Ghana’s representative in the Total Energies CAF Champions League, Medeama SC have been handed a difficult group following the draw on Friday 6, October 2023 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The draw held by the continent’s football governing body CAF, pitched Medeama SC against the most successful club in the tournament Al Ahly, CR Belouizdad of Algeria and Tanzania’s giants Yanga SC in Group D.

Medeama SC opens its group campaign against Al Ahly away when the competition gets underway from November 24, 2023, to March 2024.

With the competition made up of 4 teams in a group of 4, the two teams with the highest number of points at the end of the group campaign qualify for the quarter-final stage.
