On Thursday, August 29th, 2024, BFW PartnerAfrica paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of Ghana TVET Service to congratulate him on his recent elevation and to discuss the implementation plan for their partnership program with the TVET Service.

BFW PartnerAfrica, a German establishment, aims to organize capacity-building activities and training workshops for artisans and TVET institutions in the construction sector.

Their goal is to equip these individuals with industry-based skills, making them more competitive and ultimately enhancing productivity.

The Director General of TVET Service, Mr. David Prah, commended BFW PartnerAfrica for their commendable efforts in enhancing the image of TVET education in Ghana.

He encouraged the team to involve more master craftsmen in their plans and assured them that the TVET Service would play a pivotal role in expediting the implementation of the program.

Mr. Prah also recognized the high quality of the German TVET system and emphasized the need to replicate German construction techniques in Ghana.

The CEO and leader of the BFW PartnerAfrica team, Dr. Bernd Garstka, expressed their commitment to ensuring standardized operations and activities, as well as building strong linkages between companies and TVET centers.

The Head of International Projects, Dr. Askim Bozkurt, presented a few requests to facilitate the execution of the plan.

Other members of the team included Mr. Bjoern Müller, Mr. Awudu Damani, Mr. Clement Siaw, Dr. Albert Kwabi, Mr. Tse Amable, and Mrs. Martha Anang.

The Director General was supported by Mr. Kwasi Abankwa, Deputy Director General for Operations, and Mrs. Lily Djima, Deputy Director General, Management Services.
