Sammy Gyamfi Reeks Of Arrogance Of Stolen Privilege—NPP GERMANY On Agradaa Dollar Saga

Once again, the mask has slipped.
Only five months into what can best be described as a “corruption revival tour”, the NDC has shown Ghanaians exactly what they meant by “resetting and building the Ghana We Want” — except this time, the only thing being built is Sammy Gyamfi’s foreign currency stash.

We watched in utter disbelief as Sammy Gyamfi — the same man who parades himself as the moral compass of the NDC — was caught on camera nonchalantly counting stacks of US dollars in broad daylight, dishing them out like party souvenirs to a known controversial character, Evangelist Patricia Oduro, formerly infamous as “Nana Agradaa.”

When President Mahama accused the NPP of running a ‘criminal economy,’ many assumed his team held the moral high ground. But just five months into a potential NDC administration, Sammy Gyamfi—once the loudest voice against supposed corruption—is now openly basking in hard currency.

Is this the ‘accountability and transparency’ Ghanaians were promised? Or is this a case of ‘do as I say, not as I do’?

The hypocrisy is glaring. The same people who cried foul over alleged NPP extravagance are now counting dollars with alarming comfort.

If this is how quickly the tide turns, then perhaps the real ‘criminal economy’ is one that wears different colours depending on who holds power.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t generosity. This is arrogance soaked in corruption.
How does the Acting CEO of a public institution — the Ghana Gold Board, no less — become so flush with hard currency, so soon after his party took the reins of power?

Has the Gold Board suddenly become his personal vault? Are we back to the dark days of state capture, where public resources flow like champagne at an NDC victory rally?

And this is the same Sammy Gyamfi who was lambasting the NPP for allegedly operating a “criminal economy”?
Ladies and gentlemen, the criminal economy has officially moved into fifth gear — and it has the fingerprints of the NDC all over it.

This spectacle is not just shameful — it’s a brazen insult to the suffering Ghanaian. While mothers can’t afford baby formula, students are dropping out due to unpaid fees, and market women are battling high fuel costs, Sammy Gyamfi is playing Father Christmas with US dollars.

Not even cedis — hard dollars! Is this the party that claims to care for the ordinary Ghanaian?

Let’s connect the dots:

  • Within months of assuming office, top NDC officials are already engaging in dollar-splashing extravaganzas.
  • The same individuals who cried “broke economy” are now publicly flaunting obscene wealth.
  • And the man at the centre — the NDC’s propaganda general — is now mumbling about “acts of kindness” as though Ghanaians are fools.

This is not kindness. This is the arrogance of stolen privilege.

We, the NPP Germany, call on all Ghanaians — especially the youth — to open their eyes. President Mahama and his cabal are not here to serve.

They are here to loot. Sammy Gyamfi’s dollar-counting saga is not an isolated incident. It is a snapshot of the corruption conveyor belt the NDC has installed under the guise of “resetting the economy.”

In a real democracy, this alone would trigger investigations, resignations, and prosecutions. But in Mahama’s Ghana, it gets swept under the rug, rebranded as “kindness,” and anyone who dares question it is labelled as bitter.

We say enough is enough. Ghana deserves better than this circus of self-enrichment.
Sammy Gyamfi, if you want to show kindness, try paying teachers, nurses, and public servants who are still waiting for better conditions under your so-called “rescue mission.”

Until then, stop insulting the intelligence of Ghanaians. We see you. And come December, the ballot will speak louder than your wads of cash.

God Bless Our Homeland Ghana!!!

Long Live Ghana, long live the Elephant Party!!!!

Kukruduuuu Eeeessshiii!!!
