The Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Germany Branch, Nana Osei Boateng, who is seeking re-election ahead of the branch’s scheduled elections in August 2026, has expressed confidence that his record of service and commitment to the party’s communication agenda will earn him another mandate from delegates.

Speaking during a media interview on Oman FM in Accra, Nana Osei Boateng said he believes his extensive contributions to the party’s communication efforts over the years have positioned him strongly for re-election.

“So far I can say for a fact that I have worked so hard and extensively to indeed merit my re-election as NPP Germany Branch Communications Director,” he stated.

According to him, the upcoming election presents an opportunity for delegates to assess the performance of aspirants based on their achievements and contributions to the party.

“The elections are scheduled to be held in August and a majority of NPP Germany delegates can testify of my proven record in terms of communicating the ideals and agenda of the New Patriotic Party. Interestingly I have a contender, so definitely, I know the delegates will look at the good works I have done so far in NPP Germany,” he added.

Highlighting his achievements as Communications Director, Nana Osei Boateng noted that he has consistently remained active on various media platforms to project the party’s message and hold the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) accountable.

“Almost every week, I issue press statements which are widely circulated and also talk on diaspora radio and social media platforms among a whole lot,” he explained.

He said part of his communication strategy has involved drawing public attention to areas where he believes the current NDC administration has fallen short of its promises to Ghanaians.

“I have exposed and highlighted issues that the NDC government has failed to prioritise as a continuous reminder of their unfulfilled promises. I have also on several occasions spoken about some of the ills of the NPP and the need to clamour for a more united front ahead of the 2028 elections,” he noted.

Commenting on the challenge from his opponent, Nana Osei Boateng maintained a conciliatory tone, describing the contest as part of the democratic traditions of the party.

“As for my contender, he should have just checked my track record and watch and understudy me so that we can work together to win massively in 2028, but it is an open democratic exercise so he is welcome to join the race. I made sure that since my task was big and needed more hands, I brought onboard all party communicators in NPP Germany for TV shows, diaspora radio shows and Facebook platform commentaries,” he said.

According to him, the inclusive approach significantly improved the visibility of the party’s activities and messaging among members of the Ghanaian diaspora.

“I appeal to all my NPP Germany Branch members, party faithfuls and delegates who are our kingmakers and unmakers of kings, this is your humble servant speaking on Oman FM all the way from Accra,” he said.

“When the time is right in August 2026, give me yet another chance by voting massively for me to retain my position as we work hard for victory 2028. From Frankfurt to Berlin to Hanover, I will ensure every branch is well covered in terms of NPP communications,” he assured.
