NPP Germany Communications Director, Nana Osei Boateng Accepts Defeat, Pledges Support For Incoming NPP Germany Administration

Fellow Patriots, Delegates, Members and Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Germany, I address you today with a heart full of gratitude, humility and renewed commitment to our great party.

Following the NPP Germany National Branch Elections held on Saturday, 8th August 2026, I wish to formally accept the outcome of the elections and congratulate those who have been entrusted with the responsibility of leading our branch into the next chapter.

Elections, by their very nature, present moments of choice, competition and, ultimately, decision. While the outcome may not have been what some of us hoped for, democracy demands that we respect the verdict of the delegates and the processes through which that verdict has been reached.

I therefore accept the outcome in good faith and with the understanding that, above every individual ambition, stands the collective interest of the New Patriotic Party.

As a proud patriot of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), I wish to sincerely acknowledge and commend the outgoing NPP Germany administration, led by Dr. Felix Yamoah, for their service, commitment and sacrifices to the party during their tenure.

Leadership in politics is not measured only by electoral victories, but also by the dedication, time and resources invested in advancing the collective interests of the party. To Dr. Felix Yamoah and every member of his administration who contested and were unsuccessful in the NPP Germany elections held on Saturday, 8th August 2026, I say thank you for your service and commitment to the NPP family.

I extend my warmest congratulations to Dr. Henry Reynolds Nana Benyin Enninful, newly elected Chairman of NPP Germany, on his election. I congratulate him on the confidence the delegates have placed in him and wish him wisdom, courage, humility and strength as he assumes this important responsibility. Leadership is both a privilege and a duty, and I trust that he will work diligently for the advancement of the party.

I also congratulate Michael Arthur, the newly elected NPP Germany Communications Director, on his victory. Communications remains a critical pillar of every modern political organisation, and I am confident that he understands the responsibility that comes with this office. I wish him every success as he takes up the mantle and commits himself to projecting the ideals, policies and values of our party.

As the outgoing Communications Director, I am particularly conscious of the responsibility that comes with handing over this office. I have had the honour of serving the party and contributing, in my own modest way, to its communication efforts in Germany.

For that opportunity, I remain deeply grateful to the party leadership, delegates, executives, members and supporters who believed in me and gave me the privilege to serve.

To all those who supported me, campaigned for me, encouraged me, prayed for me and stood by me throughout this journey, I say a heartfelt thank you.

Your confidence in me remains one of the greatest sources of encouragement I have received. Although we may not have secured the desired outcome, your commitment and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

To the incoming administration, I offer my support and goodwill. I encourage the new leadership to be inclusive and to reach out to every side of the political family.

The strength of NPP Germany will depend not merely on the individuals who have been elected but on the ability of the new administration to bring everyone together and harness the talents and experiences of all members.

I urge the new leadership to make unity, discipline, transparency and effective communication central to its agenda. Our branch has enormous potential, and there is much work to be done.

We must strengthen our structures, engage our members, support the party’s broader objectives and ensure that the NPP Germany branch remains a respected and effective part of the party’s international organisation.

I encourage Michael Arthur, in particular, to build on the work that has already been done in the communications space while bringing his own ideas and innovations to the office. I wish him a successful tenure and assure him that the experience gained over the years should be used to strengthen the office.

To Nana Benyin and the entire incoming administration, I say: the responsibility is now yours, but the party belongs to all of us. Lead with humility, consult widely and remember that every member matters. I sincerely hope that your administration succeeds, because your success will ultimately be the success of NPP Germany.

Finally, I want to reiterate that my commitment to the New Patriotic Party remains unwavering. One electoral defeat cannot erase years of service, friendships, sacrifice and belief in the party. I accept the decision of the delegates, congratulate the winners and look forward to contributing positively to the party whenever and wherever I am called upon to serve.
