Turned Tables
Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month of Adar, on the thirteenth day, the time came for the king’s command and his decree to be executed. On the day that the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, the opposite occurred, in that the Jews themselves overpowered those who hated them. Esther 9:1
A decree had been issued for the complete annihilation of God’s people. Yet, in His divine providence, God raised Esther and Mordecai to bring about a remarkable turnaround.
When God stepped into the situation, everything changed. The plans of the enemy were overturned, and what was meant for destruction became a story of deliverance and victory. Their season of mourning was transformed into rejoicing, and the tables were turned in favour of God’s people.
Our God specializes in turning the tables for His children. When circumstances, systems, or people rise against those who belong to Him, He intervenes in His perfect time and changes the outcome.
The same God is still at work today. He is able to turn every situation in your favour. The one who has been brought low will be lifted up. The one who has lived in lack will experience God’s abundance. The one who has known defeat will walk in victory through God’s grace.
Take heart – the tables are turning in your favour because God has stepped into your situation. What seemed impossible for man is never impossible for Him.
Trust God’s timing, for His divine turnaround is on the way. Shalom.
Prayer: Pray for God’s divine intervention in every area of your life. Ask Him to overturn every plan of the enemy and bring about a supernatural turnaround as He causes the tables to turn in your favour.
