Accra, 17th August 2026Vivo Energy Ghana PLC, the Shell licensee has reaffirmed its commitment to operational excellence, customer-centricity and strategic partnerships following a successful Retail Conference and Awards ceremony at the Alisa Hotel, Accra.

Held under the theme “Bigger, Bolder, Better Together,” the conference brought together retailers from across the country, the company’s leadership and employees to reflect on the successes of the past year, strengthen collaboration, celebrate outstanding achievements, share best practices and align on the strategic priorities that will shape the future of the company’s retail business.

Delivering the keynote address, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Mr. Christian Li, commended retailers and employees for their resilience, commitment and pursuit of excellence despite an increasingly dynamic and volatile business environment.

“Our retailers are ambassadors of the Shell brand and the driving force behind the exceptional experiences we deliver to our customers every day. As we look ahead, let us continue to strengthen our safety culture, invest in our people, elevate our standards, embrace innovation, and unlock opportunities beyond fuel to position Shell mobility in the heart and minds of our customers and stakeholders,” he said.

A key highlight of the event was the prestigious Retail Awards Ceremony, which recognised individuals and retailers whose outstanding performance, leadership and commitment to operational excellence have set new benchmarks across Vivo Energy Ghana’s Retail network.

Participants also engaged in interactive discussions and an open forum that encouraged meaningful dialogue on strengthening operational performance, enhancing customer experience and driving sustainable growth across the retail network.
Beyond the top honours, several retailers, Territory Managers and site teams were recognised for exceptional achievements across key performance areas, underscoring the depth of talent and dedication that continues to drive the success of our retail business across the country.

Bringing the conference to a close, Retail Manager Yves-Roland Campaore called on retailers and employees to build on the strong momentum of the first half of the year by maintaining their focus on business growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences and upholding the highest standards of operational excellence.

He encouraged the company’s retail network to continue working collaboratively to achieve even greater success in the months ahead.
