The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has declared Wisdom Dogbey wanted in connection with alleged offences involving defrauding by false pretences and money laundering.
The anti-corruption and economic crime agency made the announcement through a public notice, calling on members of the public who may have information about Dogbey’s whereabouts to assist authorities in locating him.
According to EOCO, anyone with credible information that could help trace Dogbey is encouraged to report to its head office, situated adjacent to the Old Parliament House on Barnes Road in Accra.
The agency also indicated that information could be submitted at any of its regional offices across the country or at the nearest police station.
EOCO, however, did not disclose additional details regarding the specific allegations against Dogbey. The notice also did not state the amount of money allegedly involved in the reported offences.
The agency has therefore appealed to members of the public who may have information relevant to the case to promptly contact the appropriate authorities to aid efforts to locate Wisdom Dogbey.
