The Member of Parliament for Salaga South Constituency Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah as part of activities to mark this year’s Eid-ul-Adha celebrations presented packed food (takeaway), assorted drinks, and mineral water to inmates of the Salaga prisons and patients on admission at the Salaga Government Hospital.

This gesture has been her way of celebrating Eid- Al -Fitr, Easter, and Eid -Ul – Adha celebrations annually.

According to the Salaga South lawmaker, she is inspired by the Islamic edict to all Muslims to be charitable and providing to the needy and the less privileged during events like the Eid ul Adha celebration.

Receiving the food items at the Salaga Prisons Service, the Municipal Prisons Commander CSP Joseph Miyella on behalf of the inmates applauded Hon. Hajia Zuwera for her continued benevolence towards the prison service.

At the Salaga hospital, Madam Genevieve Sirina Bakari, a Nurse In-charge of the Maternity Ward received the donation and thanked the team for the gesture.

Madam Erica and Mr. Puwei Yaw who are both patients on admission thanked the MP for remembering them during the festive occasion and prayed for Allah’s continued guidance for her.

The acting Constituency Chairman Alhaji Awudu Abbah led the team and was accompanied by the Constituency Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Mallam Sumaila Ibn Hafiz, Mr. Kwabena Andrews, Mr. Mustapha Nafiu, and Mr. Mohammed Safianu.
