The Substantive Head of the Akwaanor Royal Family of Ashalaja, Nii Solomon Mintah-Achah has bewailed the conduct of one Ismila Armah Quansah parading himself as the Head of the Akwaanor Royal Family as Fraudulent.

At a press conference on 7th September  2021, the Kingmakers, Principal Elders, and the substantive Head of the Awaanor Royal Family of Ashalaja brought to the public notice the Brouhaha between one Ismila Quansah and the Royal Family as a whole.

Speaking on behalf of the Royal Family, the Substantive Head, Nii Solomon Mintah-Ackaah said, Ismila Armah Quansah holding or carrying himself as the head of the Akwaanor Family is illegal, deceptive, fraudulent, and may result in the breach of peace.

“I am the substantive head of the Akwaanor Royal family of Ashalaja my headship of the family having been confirmed by the Supreme court on 14th April 2021 and that anyone person who deals with ISMILA ARMAH QUANSAH in his capacity as the head of the Akwaanor Royal Family does so at his or her own risk.

I wish to categorically state that the said ISMILA ARMAH QUANSAH has not been appointed as the head of the Akwaanor Royal family and that neither myself nor any of the principal elders and kingmakers of the family who appointed me (SOLOMON MINTAH-ACKAAH) participated in any meeting called for the purported appointment of the said ISMILA ARMAH QUANSAH”, he stated.

Adding that, the high court, probate, and administration division, Accra, Suit No. BFA 49/13 between SOLOMON MINTAH ACKAAH VRS. ADAMS ADDY and ADU AKWAANOR presided over by the Her Ladyship JUSTICE DORIS BEMPONG (MRS) on 5th December 2018 declared SOLOMON MINTAH ACKAAH as the head of the Akwaanor Royal family.
