As the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan concluded, a philanthropist donated sacks of rice and other food supplies to the Muslim population in his area in the spirit of the Holy Month, to help them celebrate their Islamic festival, Eid-ul-Fitr.

The donation aimed to make it easier and more enjoyable for underprivileged Muslims and their families to take part in the great celebration.

On the Islamic calendar, the festival is regarded as a must-attend spiritual occasion.

The meals will be delivered to dozens of party supporters, opinion leaders, chiefs, youth and women’s organizations, and Islamic clerics in the Ngleshie Amanfro Central and TUBA ‘BARA’ mosques.

In a Facebook post, Mr. Senyo Tsagli urged all Muslims to try to share what they have so that the less fortunate can celebrate Eid.

During every Ramadan and Eid festival, he has stood by Muslims.

In his constituency, the young philanthropist says he is committed to nurturing, growing, and maintaining the popularity of his party, the National Democratic Congress in the Zongos.

He also advised Muslim celebrants, notably those in the Ngleshie Amanfro Central and TUBA ‘BARA’ mosques, to continue to use Eid’s blessings to pray for the town’s peace and tranquility.

READ HIS FULL STATEMENT BELOW:

Yesterday, I made two separate donations of food items to the Ngleshie Amanfro Central and TUBA ‘BARA’ mosques in recognition of the Ramadan season, in the Bortianor Ngleshie Amamfro constituency.

The donations were a symbol of my solidarity and existing relationship with the Muslim fraternity within the two communities.

Ramadan is observed by Muslims worldwide and it’s my prayer that Allah, will cleanse his people during this holy period.
