Ghana’s Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe says he is ready to fight to become a two-time world boxing champion.

Speaking to the media on Monday at the African Regent Hotel in Accra before flying out to the USA to prepare for his next bout which is an eliminator to the WBO Featherweight title held by Emmanuel Navarrete, he expressed his readiness to win back the world title.

The former world champion also known as ‘Neho’ who is now ranked number two will face the number one contender, Joet Gonzalez on July 23 in Minnesota, USA in a final eliminator to the WBO featherweight title held by the Ghanaian’s old conqueror, Emanuel Navarrete whom they have both lost against.

Dogboe who also announced a fresh sponsorship deal with Niche Cocoa Industry Ltd said he is really focused and will go all out to win for Ghana, Africa and all his fans everywhere in the world, with his new brand that has nutritional values and healthy as a family drink.

He noted that they have always been at the doors of corporate Ghana to support boxing, and Niche coming on board means their hard work has been recognized, and Team Dogboe really appreciates the collective effort.

He thanked all his fans for their wonderful support and the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) for their guidance and advice.

He also commended his new management and business team who are working hard for him to regain his title.

Dogboe who is ranked by all the world boxing bodies advised young boxers to take education very seriously so that they can read and understand their contracts.

He promised to support the GBA any time he gets the opportunity and has already signed to donate a percentage of his purse towards the development of boxing in Ghana.

Mr. Edmund Poku, Managing Director of Niche Cocoa said they will do everything possible to put Ghana boxing and Isaac Dogboe back on the world map.

Nana Ama Akyere Agyako (PRO), Gladys Amoah, and Lloyd Ashley, all of Niche Cocoa took turns to promote their brand and promised to ensure that Dogboe gets all that he needs to win back the prestigious world title.

Mr. Abraham Kotei Neequaye, President of the GBA hailed Dogboe for signing the undertaking to donate a percentage to the Authority, and thanked Niche Cocoa for coming into sports, especially boxing to support the aspiring world champion.

“I want all Ghanaians to pray for Isaac Dogboe to win back the world title,” he said.

Present at the short but highly impressive ceremony was GBA Board members, John Manfo, Lord Acquaye, Michael Tetteh and some Friends of Boxing as well as the media.

Niche Cocoa Company Limited is a Ghanaian cocoa company that was founded in 2007. The company exports its semi-finished by-products from Ghana to other companies in other countries internationally.

Niche Cocoa started as a Commodity Processing company with three associates all from different backgrounds two years after the company was established, Edmond Poku who is the founder bought all of his partners’ shares making it an entirely Ghanaian-owned company.

In 2011, Niche Cocoa company limited was then modified into Niche Cocoa. Niche Cocoa has been awarded by the Ghanaian President’s National Awards for Export Achievement as Exporter of The Year 2015.
