PRINPAG executives at a maiden meeting today unanimously affirmed the appointment of Madam Fordia Amenya of News Day Newspaper as the acting Treasurer of PRINPAG.

Subsequent to that decision, she was sworn in by the Executive Committee at the secretariat of the Association.

She took both the oaths of office and secrecy before all the executives and Executive Secretary, Kenteman Nii Laryea Sowah.

Before the brief swearing-in ceremony, the President of the Association, Andrew Edwin Arthur, congratulated her on her nomination and advised her to work together with the other executives as a team member to ensure that, PRINPAG grows from strength to strength to regain its past glory.

He also advised her and the other executives present to eschew negative tendencies such as undermining and maligning other executive members, a development that can break the front of the executive to the detriment of the transformation agenda.

The President said, there should be unity of purpose, which should inure to the benefit of all members of PRINPAG.
‘United we stand and divided we all fall,’ he said and charged all executives to put their shoulders to the wheel by bringing their individual ideas on board, to ensure that PRINPAG emerges the winner at all times.

On her part, Madam Fordia Amenya thanked the executives for the conference reposed in her and pledged her readiness to work together with the other executives to enhance the fortunes of all members of the Association.

Members present took turns to congratulate her on her new role as the Treasurer of the Association.
