Reports indicate that a Ghanaian businessman, said to be residing in the Greater Accra Region, has been detained by authorities following an international investigation.
According to the reports, the suspect, identified as 40-year-old Jibril Baron Cash, was arrested at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, Morocco, shortly after his arrival in the country.
The reports further allege that the arrest was carried out based on intelligence and forensic evidence gathered by international law enforcement agencies.
Authorities also reportedly disclosed that the suspect had previously been the subject of an international wanted notice, commonly referred to as an Interpol Red Notice.
