The New Patriotic Party (NPP) chapter in Germany has stressed that it is of the firm belief the aluminum development corporation project introduced by the government will drive industrial development in the country.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, launched the integrated aluminum project that seeks to refit defunct aluminum companies and refineries in Ghana, build new refineries and mines around the aluminum industry in Ghana.

The project is expected to create so many jobs for the youth as well as boost economic growth.

According to the NPP Germany chapter, the project is of massive importance and will contribute immensely to the development of the country.

“The President has shown leadership in all these by sticking to his promise to build an aluminum industry that will be run by Ghanaians to the benefit of Ghana and not individuals who had wanted to selfishly grab our resources for themselves.

“Ghanaians are solidly behind President Akufo-Addo and are ready to help and support him in fulfilling his promises to the Ghanaian people,” part of the release from the NPP Germany chapter has said.

His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday 14th September 2021 launched the integrated aluminium project that seeks to refit defunct aluminium companies and refineries in Ghana, build new refineries and mines around the aluminium industry in Ghana, this is a project that will create so many jobs for the youth as well as boost economic growth.

In his own words, we cannot have industrial growth without developing our aluminium industry. The industry will be a support system for many companies in the country.

The $6 billion project is one of the biggest investment vehicles in the country and it will be spearheaded by the private sector.The mining of alumina in Ghana is projected to be a sustainable and eco friendly venture.

The President has shown leadership in all these by sticking to his promise to build an aluminium industry that will be run by Ghanaians to the benefit of Ghana and not individuals who had wanted to selfishly grab our resources for themselves.
