The Peace of Christ
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Colossians 3:15
Colossians 3 teaches us how to live as Christians.
The Christian life becomes possible when we submit ourselves to the rule of the peace of Christ.
Through Christ, we have peace with God. Jesus is the source of our peace; indeed, He is the Prince of Peace.
When Jesus lives in our hearts, His peace should rule and permeate every area of our lives.
Because Jesus is our peace, we should also become dispensers of peace wherever we go. In times of trouble, we allow the peace of Christ to rule in our hearts. When we are provoked, His peace should govern our responses.
The peace of Christ must also rule in our relationships and influence how we respond to others.
Christ is our peace, and He calls us to live in peace with everyone.
May the peace of Christ richly rule in your hearts, guiding your thoughts, words, actions, and relationships. Shalom.
Prayer: Pray that your heart will be governed and controlled by the peace of Christ in every circumstance.
