Live Like Jesus
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. I John 2:6
Faith in Christ is a spiritual experience that cannot be seen by others.
We may claim that we abide in Christ and that Christ lives in us. We may say that we live our lives by the power and strength that Christ gives us.
But the proof of that claim is seen in the way we live. Our lives should demonstrate and affirm our confession. In other words, it is not enough to confess that we have a relationship with Jesus; we must live as He lived.
Christ lived a life of holiness, love, obedience, submission, and forgiveness. As His followers, we are called to walk as He walked.
Talking about Jesus must be affirmed by living like Jesus.
Our confession of faith must be evident in our daily lifestyle and our pursuit of Christlikeness.
Talk like Jesus. Live like Jesus. As He is, so are we. Shalom.
Prayer: Pray for the grace to walk the talk by becoming more like Jesus in your words, character, and daily life.
